glamping wedding
late last summer, egg&spoon were thrilled to be involved in the most glamorous glamping wedding, possibly of all time, in sunny Dorset. here's a link to a very gorgeous blog featuring the wedding of monique and neale:

we love a challenge just as much as we love a wedding. especially one in the great outdoors; getting back to nature, being at one with the chickens, barbequing in the dark. it's all in a day's work...

cake & bakes festival - brighton
This weekend saw the first public outing of egg & spoon’s chocolate sauces and brownies. We were extremely excited to be part of the brighton & hove cake & bake festival, situated in a very sunny and busy spot outside Churchill square. It was a great weekend, we gave out hundreds of tasters to a very enthusiastic crowd, most of whom couldn’t believe their luck at getting sunshine and free cakes on the same day.
Our new chocolate sauces went down a storm. Chocolate whisky being surprisingly popular with the shoppers ( make of that what you will… ), chocolate franjelico a big hit with grown-up nutella lovers, chocolate star anise got the most ‘mmmm’s and dreamy smiles, but eventually, chocolate chilli outsold them all.
Amazing response to our brownies-by-post and a fantastic opportunity for us to show how it all works and what will actually land in your letterbox. We also met many very happy gluten-intolerant brownie fans – and their friends - who loved our gluten-free almond brownies.
Despite a lot of hard work, a lot of chocolate, butter & cream, it was well worth the effort. Huge thanks indeed to our team of super-helpers; Jess, Marc, Charlotte, Claire, Helen & Nick. We couldn’t have done all that baking, tasting, wrapping, sticking, packing, lifting & shifting without you. See you at the next one! x
